Testimonials

The customer experience is at the core of what we do. We hope you enjoy reading about the impact Assistology has had on the lives of our clients.

Meaghan put together two dynamic workshops for the Easterseals MA staff around Universal Design for Learning and Task Analysis. Both workshops were highly informative, interactive, accessible for different learning styles, and engaging. Easterseals MA staff left the workshops feeling excited to use the new information and skills gained to better serve our clients with disabilities.

Removing Barriers for Active Participation in Life and Learning

“Working with Meaghan was definitely worth it. From the beginning, she expertly understood my unique vision of the “Empowering All” project. She worked with me a writing the grant, which was awarded.

Meaghan has a needs-centered approach. She carefully studied the unique issues of adaptive cooking, food safety and nutrition related to ID individuals living in group homes. Then she tailored the classes around the specific needs of the residential and day programs at Vodec. I know individuals at Vodec will have healthier outcomes because of her work with us.

Staff response was overwhelming and positive. I am excited for our next project with Meaghan!”

Empowering All – To Be Their Best Self!

“Meaghan is an extremely valuable resource on anything Assistive Technology, Rehab Engineering, and Universal Design.  I work in education and Meaghan has partnered with me on a number of impactful and meaningful learning experiences for the students I work with.  We have worked on a GoBabyGo project with a group of high school students and modified a power wheel car for a toddler with a mobility limitation.  We have also begun the planning stages for a summer camp to expose students to the world of Assistive Technology, Rehab Engineering, and Universal Design.  No matter how crazy the idea is, Meaghan is always on board to bring to light the importance of inclusion and inclusive environments for all. “

Pure JOY!

I put Hayes in the car, placed his hands on the switch and off he went! Pure joy the entire time he was driving. In the last picture he was dancing right before I took it. 🙂 Thank you so much for all the work you put into this and to United Cerebral Palsy of NE for their generous grant! We are so very excited for Hayes to have some freedom outside this Spring/Summer!

We cannot thank Meaghan and Assistology enough for this wonderful Go Baby Go car for our son, Elliott. He can’t WAIT to get outside and use this again, it’s nothing but smiles for DAYS!!!! He asks about it non-stop!

Elliott has two little friends of the same age, and while they have so much fun together, Elliott has struggled to keep up with them due to his mobility issues. This Go Baby Go car is just the perfect solution for him, and Meaghan didn’t even know! Power Wheels are THE toy for these boys; Elliott has always had to ride shotgun but now HE gets to be the driver. The joy in his eyes when he gets behind the wheel can light up the whole world!

While this Car is the perfect tool for mobility at Elliott’s age, we want to make sure others are aware that Meaghan’s knowledge and expertise is not limited to kids toys; it truly extends to all ages and types of modifications. Her eye is not on how disabilities restrict people, but rather how we can adapt the world around us to make it fit all shapes, sizes and abilities. She is kind, intuitive, and dedicated to the population she serves! Thank you SO much for this amazing gift!!!

A Taste of Freedom!

Meaghan was a valuable resource for creating in-home modifications to increase accessibility in our home to accommodate my wife during her illness.  She collaborated with me and guided the projects with expertise and sensitivity to our family’s needs.  She demonstrated a broad scope of expertise in assessing the best design options and completing installation of the solutions.

We worked as a team to design and install a ramp from the garage into our home, renovate a room to install a roll-in shower on the first floor and modify the bathroom door to allow for wheelchair access.  Our work together allowed for me to honor my wife’s request to remain in our home throughout her illness.  The value of this gift is priceless.

Diverse Solutions

Working with Assistology has opened my eyes to having freedom in the kitchen. I’m now cooking and opening cans and bottles and cutting my own food for the FIRST time in my life.

A taste of freedom

Assistology helped my student obtain a Go-Baby-Go car, and the process was simple and easy for my student’s family and myself.  Meaghan and her team were able to customize the Go-Baby-Go car to meet my student’s specific needs.  I can’t thank Assistology, Meaghan, and her team enough for giving my student the gift of movement that she would otherwise not have been able to experience.  Seeing my student get excited every time she hit the switch to make her Go-Baby-Go car move, will be something my family and I will never forget.  I highly recommend the Assistology team!
